Cicchetti Bowl

- La Soufflerie was founded in 2009 by Parisian husband and wife team Valentina and Sébastien Nobile, driven by a desire to revive the dying art of mouth-blown glass. The studio began with just four vase designs made from recycled glass, sold from the couple's bike baskets to local flower shops. Today, their full range of glassware and serving pieces is still made entirely by hand — no machinery, no shortcuts — by skilled artisans in France, Tunisia, and Turkey.

- Named for the Venetian word for appetizer, the Cicchetti bowl draws its beveled design from the ornate tradition of Venetian Baroque. Each bowl is made by pouring molten glass into a spiked mold, then twisting it free as it cools — a process that creates the distinctive ridged pattern and ensures that no two pieces are exactly alike. Beautiful for olives, nuts, and small bites, and just as fitting for a scoop of ice cream.

- Each piece is unique. Subtle variations in form and the pontil mark left on the base by the glassblower's cane are hallmarks of the freehand technique — signs of a living craft, not a flaw. Dishwasher safe and made to be used every day.
