- This large cylinder vase by La Soufflerie is a beautiful vessel for summer wildflowers, artist paintbrushes, cooking utensils, or any other personal collection.

- La Soufflerie was founded in 2009 by husband and wife team Valentina and Sébastien Nobile out of a desire to revive the dying art of mouth-blown glass. At the time of its founding, fewer than 5 professional glassblowers were working in the Paris region. The Nobiles’ studio began with 4 vase designs made from recycled glass that were sold out of the couple's bike baskets to local Parisian flower shops. As demand increased, they expanded their practice to include a full range of glassware and serving pieces for every occasion, still made using traditional techniques, recycled glass, and no machinery. Today, all of their artful pieces are designed at their family-owned and operated Parisian studio and hand-blown by artisans in France, Tunisia, and Turkey.

- Each piece is a unique work of art, featuring subtle imperfections which are part of its inherent beauty and a testament to its craftsmanship.

- Due to their handmade nature, no two pieces are exactly alike. On the base of each item, you can feel the pontil mark left by the glassblower’s cane. The presence of this mark indicates that the glass was blown freehand.
