- Dimensions: 11.5" x 9"

- Published in 1986, Good Parties is a delightful follow up to Lee Bailey’s beloved Country Weekends (1983) and City Food (1984) cookbooks. In it, Bailey— who is called by Julia Turshen "the lifestyle guru [who] showed America how to throw a party before Ina and Martha,”— shares his recipes, entertaining secrets, and favorite sources for all things hosting.

- In its introduction Bailey writes, “Since I am basically a designer, I thought that this time around it might be fun as well as useful to show what that aspect of my interests is all about. So in addition to suggesting food and showing ways to serve it, the book is meant to be a source book, too.”

- Recipes are divided into selections for ‘The Summer House,’ ‘The City,’ and ‘Winter Vacation,’ followed by a generous section outlining Lee’s favorite pots, pans, appliances, gadgets, and tableware. Each recipe is accompanied by detailed notes and mouthwatering photographs by the author.

- This vintage book is in excellent condition, with its original jacket housed in a protective plastic sleeve. Please see our detailed photos.
