- Deborah Kriger, born 1953, received her BFA from the Maryland Institute of Art. Inspired by light, texture, pattern, and color, she often paints en plein air in upstate New York and in France. Her work has been represented by New York City’s M55 Gallery, as well as galleries in Baltimore and abroad. A retired teacher, she continues to paint, primarily in oil, in Delaware County.
- We are pleased to debut a collection of 3 paintings completed by Kriger in the 1980's. Rendered in her signature lush, painterly approach, they evoke the fleeting beauty of everyday moments, particularly the interaction of the indoor and outdoor worlds.
- This work on canvas is housed in a vintage painted frame, which shows minor wear and chips consistent with its age. This painting is signed and dated by the artist in the lower right corner; there is also a partial signature on the left side. Please see our detailed photos.
- This painting is available to view in person at our New York City gallery.
