- Devotions, comprised of poems from 26 of Mary Oliver’s titles, represents a collection of the poet’s most beloved works; spanning from her first book, No Voyage and Other Poems (1963), to her last, Felicity (2015). The book was arranged by Oliver herself shortly before her death in 2019. This volume is a dog-eared favorite of ours and one we consider to be a library essential. It makes an especially excellent graduation or birthday gift.
- Mary Oliver spent most of her writing life in Provincetown, Massachusetts. An avid observer of the natural world, many of her writings focus on the daily practices of paying attention and cultivating wonder. She was the recipient of the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry.
