- Deborah Kriger, born 1953, received her BFA from the Maryland Institute of Art. Inspired by light, texture, pattern, and color, she often paints en plein air in upstate New York and in France. Her work has been represented by New York City’s M55 Gallery, as well as galleries in Baltimore and abroad. A retired teacher, she continues to paint, primarily in oil, in Delaware County.

- We are pleased to debut a collection of 3 paintings completed by Kriger in the 1980's. Rendered in her signature lush, painterly approach, they evoke the fleeting beauty of everyday moments, particularly the interaction of the indoor and outdoor worlds.

- This lithograph by American painter Fairfield Porter beautifully transforms the ordinary into the luminous. This editioned piece is numbered 70/90 and signed by the artist. It also includes a Bank Street Atelier blind stamp.

- Porter was known as "the painter's painter" and remains widely admired for his representational art that bridges the gap between realism and abstraction.

- In this composition, a simple table takes center stage, rendered with subtle color, delicate line, and a painterly sensibility. Porter's oeuvre is characterized by intimate domestic interiors and still lifes that capture the quiet poetry of everyday life.

- We were immediately smitten with this sweet oil painting and its provenance, painted by Mary A Frye in Wilton, New Hampshire in 1934.

- The back of this piece is titled “Aunt Abella,” capturing a beloved family member at leisure, reading on a porch. To us, it's a painterly and intimate glimpse at a carefree summer pastime.

- We paired this vintage woodland paint-by-numbers postcard with an antique tramp art frame for an enchanting effect. It's a charming accent for a summer cottage, lake house, and anywhere in between.

- Beginning in the 1870's, tramp art is a style of woodworking that involves chip or notch carving, mostly done by hand using a penknife. Makers often use discarded or reclaimed materials to layer these geometric patterns into distinct art forms. Most famously, this treatment is used on picture frames and boxes.

- Discovered in a Long Island cottage, this folk art carving of a gull brings a weathered, whimsical, and maritime charm to any space.

- With two pegs along its top for hanging, this piece was most likely used as a shop sign. It is entirely hand-carved and covered in a subtle, whitewashed paint that works with any decorating style.

- A charming scene of Provincetown, Massachusetts by the late Cape Cod artist, Bruce McKain.

- Originally from Indiana, McKain moved to Provincetown in 1932 and served as the director of the Provincetown Art Association. His work has been shown in The National Academy, the American Federation of Arts Traveling Shows, the Cape Cod Art Association, the Sarasota Art Association, the New York World’s Fair, the University of Illinois, Jordan Marsh Exhibits and Hoosier Salons. He was the recipient of the Cape Cod Art Association’s first prize on numerous occasions, as well as the Richard Mitton Memorial Award, the Smith-Alsop prize, William H. Block Award and Thomas C. Werbe prize. His work is held in the permanent collection of Worcester Art Museum, Springfield Art Museum and Chrysler Art Museum, as well as numerous private collections.
