ERIN FOSTEL

Artist Erin Fostel (American, b. 1981) draws our attention to the quiet poetry of the everyday, from the familiar comfort of home to the slow drift of clouds across the sky. Working in charcoal, she renders these transient moments of light and shadow with an intimacy that feels both personal and shared. A Baltimore native and MICA graduate, her exquisite drawings are part of the permanent collections of the Baltimore Museum of Art and Johns Hopkins University, among others.
