- Dimensions: sizes vary slightly; 3.25”-3.5” high x 3.25” top diameter x 2.75” base diameter
- A gorgeous work of art to be enjoyed every day, we love to use these painterly tumblers as desktop accessories, pen cups, toothbrush holders, vases for small flowers, or drinking vessels.
- This one-of-a-kind piece is handmade by Australia-native Jessie Hicks of Vernor Pots, a ceramic studio and creative workspace dedicated to exploring and celebrating the beauty of intimate daily rituals that shape our existence. With training as both a chef and painter, Jessie spent over a decade running two businesses, Astro Coffee and Ochre Bakery, with her husband in Detroit, Michigan. Food and cooking are still an integral part of her daily creative practice, along with ceramics and painting.
- Jessie writes: “Vernor Pots is the name my kids gave to my ceramics studio, an old gas station on Vernor Highway in Southwest Detroit. I make pots, and I also cook. Sometimes I paint. The studio is an evolving collaboration of all of the parts of me that used to be separate and that are now finding a home together.”
- We’re proud to offer a collection of Vernor Pots ceramics this holiday season, beautiful works of art to give, receive, and use every day. Hicks' multifaceted artistry comes together in these one-of-a-kind pieces, which feature expressionistic brushstrokes, eye-catching patterns, and vibrant hues.
- This is a handmade item, hand-washing is recommended. Food safe.
