- We've had a pair of these whimsical scissors on our desk for years, they're a joy-inducing piece of everyday utility that we're pleased to add to our collection of readymade offerings. 

- Made in Italy, these scissors are crafted from hard tempered steel and feature finely engraved details, nickel-plated blades, and gold-plated handles. A thin layer of 24 karat gold plating gives them a luxe finish.

- Deborah Kriger, born 1953, received her BFA from the Maryland Institute of Art. Inspired by light, texture, pattern, and color, she often paints en plein air in upstate New York and in France. Her work has been represented by New York City’s M55 Gallery, as well as galleries in Baltimore and abroad. A retired teacher, she continues to paint, primarily in oil, in Delaware County.

- We are pleased to debut a collection of 3 paintings completed by Kriger in the 1980's. Rendered in her signature lush, painterly approach, they evoke the fleeting beauty of everyday moments, particularly the interaction of the indoor and outdoor worlds.

- Originally used in taverns, mochaware was first produced in England in the late 1700's and imported to America in the early 19th century. Since its inception, it has been beloved for its practicality and day-to-day durability.

- Mochaware’s dendritic pattern is created by dripping an acidic solution on the wet slip of the pottery. The resulting reaction creates the abstract designs we love, reminiscent of a sea fan, seaweed, or sprawling tree limbs.

- In recent years, the craze for this pottery has skyrocketed and its signature motifs and color combinations have become especially coveted. The striking orange and blue color pairing on this design is especially rare and feels surprisingly modern.

- Purveyor of impeccably made housewares, David Mellor is a British company that specializes in understated, high-quality, and exquisitely designed essentials for living. - Horn is an organic substance and if handled with care, it will last a lifetime. The material cuts through egg shells smoothly and has the added bonus of being easy to clean as yolk does not stick to its surface.
