- We've created a chic lumbar pillow from a vintage Japanese indigo textile, backed in linen. 

- With rich, beautiful hues and a soft hand, this classic plaid is the perfect accent for a sofa or bed.  

- Japan has a rich history of indigo dyeing, dating to the 17th century. Originally, indigo dye was used on the lining of samurai armor and as an antibacterial treatment for battle wounds. It was then popularized in fashion and household items, later becoming synonymous with Japanese culture.

 - The antique textile on this cushion is in good vintage condition, showing minor signs of wear, including discoloration spots. Please see our detailed photos. The insert and linen backing are in new condition.
