- Dimensions: 26” high to finial x 4” diameter x 10” top x 16” bottom x 10.5” slant
- A true collector’s item, this vintage table lamp was designed by Piero Fornasetti in his Milanese workshop in the mid-twentieth century.
- Born out of the post-war artistic movement of the 1940’s, Fornasetti’s designs are synonymous with fantasy, whimsy, creative flair, and the magic of the natural world. Or, as Piero phrased it, “practical madness.” To this day, each Fornasetti object is made by hand in Italy by expert craftsmen, honoring a generation-spanning commitment to this distinct art that spans furniture, porcelain, lighting, and other decorative accessories.
- No longer in production in this colorway, the 'Farfalle' table lamp features a colorful swarm of hand-painted butterflies atop its surface. It is a beautiful example of the heart of Fornasetti’s designs, representing beauty and creativity in the service of utility.
- A fantastic conversation piece, a vision to contemplate, and an object to be used and enjoyed every day.
- This table lamp is in excellent vintage condition and has been fully restored. It is newly rewired and features a custom raffia lampshade. Please see our detailed photos.
- Available to view in person at our New York City gallery.
