- This piece is lightweight, slim, and comfortable, making it ideal for creating a cozy corner anywhere in your home.

- We love to stack several to play off the different stripes and colors, all of which are created using traditional dyeing methods.

- Each mattress is filled with kapok, a soft natural fiber that is picked by hand.

- Please note that each piece is handmade and dimensions may vary slightly.

- Founded in 2010, Tensira is the brainchild of Hamidou Diallo of Guinean descent and Tuulia Makinen Diallo, a native of Finland. The brand brilliantly combines West African weaving and dyeing techniques with Nordic design.

- An art form derived from necessity, rag rugs were traditionally made from discarded clothing. Through braiding and stitching, these cast-off pieces were given a second life and transformed into usable art by domestic makers.

- We love the warm, pink and brown palette of this rug. It would make a sturdy and beautiful addition to a hallway or entryway.

- This one-of-a-kind rug is in good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use. New pink bindings have recently been added on both ends. Please see our detailed photos.

- We've created a chic lumbar pillow from a vintage Japanese indigo textile, backed in linen. 

- With rich, watery hues and a soft hand, this classic plaid is the perfect accent for a sofa or bed.  

- Japan has a rich history of indigo dyeing, dating to the 17th century. Originally, indigo dye was used on the lining of samurai armor and as an antibacterial treatment for battle wounds. It was then popularized in fashion and household items, later becoming synonymous with Japanese culture.

 - The antique textile on this cushion is in very good vintage condition, showing minor signs of wear. Please see our detailed photos. The insert and linen backing are in new condition.
