We love the ruggedness of rope. And this tripod floor lamp is by French designers Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet who famously and imaginatively transformed the material into enduringly chic, surprisingly versatile lighting, furniture and decorative accessories. Originally sold at their retail outpost in the French Riviera town of Golfe-Juan in the '40's and '50's, Audoux-Minet pieces have a coastal sophistication that complements modern and traditional interiors alike. We had this iconic piece re-wired and added a simple, clean paper lampshade (included).
