- The actual specimens were carefully hand pressed in 1901. The collection was later framed in the 1970's; these are the original wooden frames.
- The organic shapes of each play off one another beautifully, offering endless hanging possibilities: wrapping a small space, hung in a grid-like series to create a statement on a large wall, arranged in a simple horizontal line, or climbing the architecture of a room.
- This set is in good vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use, notably some scratches to the original finish of the wood frames.
