Now this is a design library essential. David Hicks on Decoration is the first in a series of now out-of-print and highly coveted books by the legendary British decorator whose oeuvre included homes for royalty (like Prince Charles), celebrities, and magnates. His iconoclastic interiors defined the swinging ‘60s and still reverberate today. Lush photography charts influential rooms that are as modern and cool as ever, interspersed with the kind of eminently practical advice that will never go out of style. A must-have reference guide.

This book is in good vintage condition with several small chips, tears and some discoloration to its dust jacket, which is protected in a plastic sleeve. The pages are clean and the volume is well intact.

This is the first book in a series that Hicks published in the late 1960's and early 1970's. This group, with their graphic covers and original text, are the ultimate collector's items. We are offering 5 volumes, each sold separately.
